Travel teaches us to be humble.  And it opens our minds to the ideas of others.  That is especially true in the art of Blacksmithing.  So we travel as often as we can. 

We have competed in Czech Republic at the annual Hefaiston festival.   

And after Andrew was asked to be the featured smith there in 2012, producing a sculpture on permanent display at the castle.

We have been featured in several televisions shows and do our best to educate about smithing when we have the opportunity.  

Andrew, our head smith, has spent several months working and visiting some of the best blacksmiths in Europe in an effort to increase his skill and ultimately the ability of Artisans to provide excellent work. 

In 2014 Artisans assisted Jiri Bata in his sculpture demonstration at the bi-annual ABANA blacksmithing conference. 

And we continue to hold sculpture days and public demostrations to further educate and involve people in the world of smithing.
